Topics include campus security, personal safety, and emergency preparedness - interspersed with hard rock, cool jazz, Big Band, and classic country music. Every broadcast of Safe & Sound is dedicated to EVAN GERSHKOVICH '14, wrongfully detained in Russia on false espionage charges since March 29, 2023.

This Christmas special features archival programming from WFAU radio in Augusta, Maine. There is a 30-minute excerpt of the French Sunday Hour broadcast on December 22, 1974, hosted by Norm Gallant with musical selections from The Versailles Singers, Gisele MacKenzie, Fernand Gignac, and Michelle Richard. This is followed by a 1954 broadcast of 'A Christmas Carol' performed by WFAU's Across the Footlights cast and members of the Capitol City Radio Guild.
